- I spent all of last weekend in Canton with my boyfriend and his family. It was so relaxing to not worry about work, classes, homework, and the like, and even though I am paying for it now by catching up on all of my studies that I neglected all weekend- it was totally worth it. Despite a couple arguments with Ryan (I'll take the blame on me being incredibly stressed and on edge about life) and an awful headache on Sunday, we spent the whole time just relaxing, visiting his friends, having meals with his parents, and spending some time with his grandparents. Overall, one of the best weekends I've had in awhile and it's always nice to get to connect with his family, beings that we live quite a distance away from each other.
- Yesterday, I conducted an interview with the CEO of Future Content (a lifestyle marketing company based out of LA) for one of my business class projects. It was absolutely one of the best things I have ever done! Not only did she provide me tons of information for my paper, but also lasting advice that I'll be able to use throughout my career path as well. At the end of the conversation she even offered to help me find an internship and suggested that she knew of one I could do over my winter break for LA Weekly's NightLife section (AMAZING!!) So now it's just deciding if I can actually handle being away from home for the Holidays and Ryan's birthday...I should be updating on all of this more later though, as the details are not worked out yet.
- This week I have an exam and two papers due, and then another large exam next week...all on top of working ): So not looking forward to any of this; I am in desperate need of Thanksgiving break. Finally some calmness to my schedule. I feel like I don't have time to get everything done, let alone eat or sleep and it's having a detramental affect on my health. I know flu season is coming and the tiredness, body aches, headaches, and cough have already started. Looks like I need to stock up on Theraflu, Dayquil, and tissues! ):
Well now that I've taken a pretty large break from my paper, I really should return to it. I am hoping to have it done by time Ryan gets home from the studio where he's recording a band. He's expecting it to be around two, so I have a couple hours to get this done (and get my laundry out of the dryer *mental reminder*) Look forward to a photo post later in the week from me and Ryans trip to Sippo Lake Park :) xo
